i want to make a "book" out of black heavy paper (construction paper but thicker) and some strings.. i have tried to hole punch the edges of the paper and tie a long string on it but it doesn’t quite work… you can’t turn the paper like turning a page. help?!
Can you get some 1 1/2 " metal or plastic rings that open and close?
Use these in the holes you punch and they should let your pages turn. If you want more pages then buy larger rings.
Hope this helps you.

So i have just found out my soon to be exhusband is doing estate sale with out me, apparently he is selling all our furnisihings in the house and out side which includes shop with tools and lawn and heavy equipment. He did not ask if this was okay by me, i have no idea how much he is selling everything for or what he is getting rid of. Our final hearing is in 2 weeks from today, do judges usually like this?
yes, i had friend drive by and takes pictures of signs with estate sale in front of the house with picture of sherrif in drive way and at the end of the street where he is advertising estate sale.
I have contacted my lawyer thank you. yeah she said that is NOT good! We go to court in two weeks so, hopefully the judge does everything in my favor.
Yes he is doing this with out my consent, i dont think he can actually sell the house, i hope not. So frusturating. I have protective order on him so i do not go around him.
Call your attorney now! He is in huge trouble.

Im applying online and there is 500 choices, What would be the title of a heavy equipment operator or a diesel mechanic?
Just call Boeing’s recruitment line and ask what the job is called. It’s a reasonable question and they won’t drop your application just for asking it.

My boyfriend is 28 and he is trying to figure out which direction to take. He hasn’t really put too much thought into until we met. He has been with a company that manufactures heavy duty construction equipment & he is the foreman of the assembly dept. Unfortunately, the company isn’t doing so well. It is a small family owned company and it has laid of the majority of its employees. He also has a history of working for his dad’s excavating company. It has been in business for 15 yrs. They do everything from excavating, to putting in new yards, to seal-coating & snow removal. His dad has offered to pass the company down to him, but he is nervous about running it. He can do the work very well, but he just can’t tell how profitable the company will be. His dad has always worked for the fire dept part-time as well and he has just always paid his son’s & other’s in cash to assist with jobs. So it isn’t a very well organized business, but it is reputable. He also has been taking classes just recently for HVAC since a friend of his family has offered him an entry-level position if he completes some classes. He is very handy and a very hard worker, he just hasn’t had direction. Does anyone have any advice to offer on a direction? I want to help him, but I don’t know where to start…

None. If the machine is working properly, then it doesn’t need to be fixed. Maintenance and repair is a separate issue from operation.

Why torch the construction equipment? I don’t get it? Wasn’t Jesus a carpenter?
Thoughts?
Why must religion and fighting always be so strongly linked? Let’s keep peace first and religion last.

He had some sort of huge rock garden/house thing…no one could figure out how he dealt with these huge rocks without using heavy lifting equipment.
I found it…Coral castle in Homestead, FL
You may be thinking of Edward Leedskalnin. He built the Coral Castle for his lost love and did it all with primitive hand tools and brute strength. When asked how he managed to move large limestone blocks, Ed simply replied that he understood the laws of weight and leverage.

I think it has something to do with cranes, but I’m not clear on what exactly it is.
Rigging is the special trade of moving heavy equipment.
It includes operating cranes, but watching those guys
operate in installing heavy equipment in existing tight
places can be a lesson in applied physics.

My husband works in construction driving heavy equipment. Every winter his employer lays everybody off and then expects them to work ridiculous hours in the summer. For the last 3 weeks, he is working days at one jobsite and nights at another, getting maybe 2 hours of sleep each day., he is averaging 18-20 hours of work each day and is a walking zombie. I would think that were illegal but his company makes you feel like you can’t say no.
The most hours you can legally work in one day is 24. If they ask you to work more than that in a day then they’re behaving illegally and irresponsibly.
