My mom sold her house and moved in with him before they got married. With the money from the sale, she purchased a bobcat which he has used for business purposes. I’m not sure how it works with heavy equipment but I was told that there was no title to the bobcat just a sales slip which would have to be tracked down.
Originally, her husband offered her anything she wanted, just as long as they got the divorce done. He had said it would be stupid for her to pay for an attorney too since they could work this out. Well, she told him what she wanted which was everything she owned before they got together, the bobcat that was purchased with her money before they were together, and the house. He apparently threw a fit and told her she had just started a war.
His counter-offer is: he’ll pay off her car (roughly $12,000) and she can have the furniture that is upstairs. He’ll get the house, the bobcat, the boat, the camper, and the furniture that is in the lower half of the house plus he wouldn’t make her pay any of his $18,000 worth of debt he racked up.
Initially she agreed just to get everything done with. I feel like he’s being a huge…jerk…with his offer. I’m trying to convince her not to agree to it. Her point of view is that she’d have a car, free and clear so she could more easily afford finding a place to live. My personal opinion, she currently has an offer to buy the bobcat for $15,000 plus all the furniture upstairs was already hers besides the couch, tv, and bedroom set…even if she just walked away with the bobcat, she’d be coming out ahead.
My question, since there is no title to the bobcat and he uses it as a part of business, how will this play out? He’s promising to screw her over if she doesn’t agree and settle quickly.
Agreed, she MUST get an attorney or she will get screwed.
Bills mean nothing unless specifically ORDERED by a judge. Bill collectors will still legally come after her for any of his unpaid bills even if he said they would be his responsibility, plus they will remain on HER credit report as long as they are still owing.
She MUST get an attorney to get all of this fixed. She can not do it on her own.
He is pressing for the quickie thing so that he can pull a fast one on her. DON’T let that happen.

I live in a not so goodish neighborhood with my mom and sister and am basically the strongest out of all of us.
I don’t want to do karate because there’s NO protective equipment, but I do want to take up a sport i can use as self defense.
I’m kind of short(5′3" and 14) and thin, but able to take a hit and to hit pretty hard(but thats like me hitting another 14 year old girl)
I don’t want to be like world class heavy weight champ, but I do want to take up a sport, does boxing sound like a good idea for me?
PLEASE be honest, I don’t want to get into something that will get me into a coma
You should check out both because me and my brother box all the time and the gloves don’t do much if the opponent knows how to throw good punches
plus you won’t go into a coma unless they find some Mike Tyson like girl to fight you and I’m pretty sure that won’t happen
Train like have never trained before get a speed bag train your stomach for hits you might take
Good luck kicking as s

I am 45, and have a vast array of marketable skills. Like so many of us I have been unemployed for some time now. I am well versed in the operation of an impressive list of light and heavy equipment, have my CDL-A, am proficient in the use of most hand tools, and am at least functionally mechanically minded. I have been a mason, and owned my own masonry company for a time. I have over 20 years experience with restaurant kitchens, 13 of those years in supervisory/manager positions. I also am an artist, and have worked writing internet articles, guides, and advertisements. I work very hard, and have an intellect which endows me with the ability to comprehend new data and acquire new skills very rapidly. I have my elderly parents, daughter, and grandson relying on my income to keep us going. My kids are grown, I’m single, and willing to relocate anywhere on the planet for a decent job. I have my resume updated and ready to email to any interested parties. If you have a job outside those I have discussed, I am always willing to consider any offers. HELP ME AMERICA!!! PLEASE!!!
Time to start your own business. Apply as an Independent Contractor to as many places as possible, while you post on-line ads on all the free sites, like Craigslist.org with your services.
Every day over the age of 30, your employability decreases. It is better for your financial and mental and emotional health to be your own hero. Take the plunge. Good luck!

John Deere has been making green agricultural equipment for years. Deere’s construction equipment is yellow. Is there some rule or guideline, or is Deere trying to mimic Caterpillar.
Yellow stand for CAUTION, that’s why all construction equipments are painted that color.

Multiply by 1.4 and this should be total cost. Then minus the original pr
ice and you should have your tax bill. ie. 3500 x 1.4 =4900 . 4900 -3500=1400. You should pay 1400pounds Tax

There was political influence in determining routes. Congressmen were looked upon favorably if the routes passed through their districts for access by their constituents.
Tax dollars were spent, and money was made by construction companies, heavy equipment manufacturers, etc.
It made some businesses more profitable (trucking, oil, etc.) than they would otherwise be.
Could such an effort be put forth by the private sector, not the government?
Yes. What article in the Constitution allows the Government to preform such acts?
